Okay, so today I wanted to figure out who’s announcing the Chiefs game. I’m a huge Chiefs fan, and I like to know who’s calling the game, you know? It’s part of the whole experience.
First, I grabbed my phone and opened up the browser. I typed in “who is announcing Chiefs game today” into the search bar. I scrolled through a bunch of results, and it was a bit of a mess, to be honest.
I saw a few names popping up. One was Mitch Holthus. Apparently, he’s been the play-by-play guy for the Chiefs since like, forever—1994! That’s some serious dedication. I remembered hearing his voice a lot during the games, so that made sense.
- Mitch Holthus – Play-by-play announcer (since 1994!)
Then there were some other names, depending on which network was showing the game. For example, if it’s on CBS, I might hear Kevin Harlan. And if it’s on NBC, it could be Mike Tirico and Cris Collinsworth. Those guys are pretty well-known, especially the Sunday Night Football crew.

- Mike Tirico – NBC
- Cris Collinsworth – NBC
I also found out that the referee for one of the games is Craig Wrolstad. Referees are important too, even if we sometimes disagree with their calls!

Here’s What I Put Together
After digging around, I figured out that the main voice I’ll probably hear is Mitch Holthus. He’s the Chiefs’ go-to guy. But depending on the network, I might also hear some other famous voices. It all depends on the day and who’s broadcasting.
So yeah, that was my little adventure for today. Not exactly rocket science, but hey, it’s fun to know these things if you’re a fan. I just wanted to share my findings, hoping someone else might find it useful or interesting. Go Chiefs!
Anyway, that’s all I’ve got for now. Just a regular guy sharing his everyday stuff. Hope you enjoyed it!
