Yo, what’s up, guys! It’s your boy back at it again. Today, I wanna talk about something that’s been on my mind lately – this whole “Billy Bowman” thing, specifically diving into the character 2B from NieR: Automata.
So, I stumbled upon some interesting tidbits. First off, did you know that Kira Buckland is the English voice behind 2B? Yeah, mind blown, right? She’s also the voice of Jolyne Cujoh. I mean, the range on this woman! I started digging a bit deeper, trying to understand why 2B is such a big deal.
I found out that this game, NieR: Automata, is famous for its art and combat. Makes sense, I guess. The character designs are pretty slick. And apparently, there’s this collab happening with Stellar Blade? Fans have been asking for it, and now it’s real, but it’s gonna be a paid DLC. Gotta make that money, I suppose.
Then, I got into some discussions about 2B’s character. Some folks were saying she’s just an “executioner model” and that’s hinted at throughout the game. Others were like, “Nah, man, she’s got layers!” They argued that she goes through a lot of development. I watched some gameplay, and I gotta say, the story seems pretty deep. There’s this ending theme song, “Weight of the World,” and it’s apparently a real tearjerker. I haven’t finished the game yet, so I can’t really say much on that, but from what I saw and read about it, the game really makes you think.
Oh, and get this – Yui Ishikawa, the Japanese voice actor for 2B, actually cosplayed as her! She had these 2B-themed outfits and sneakers. One style was this “BLACK” thing. Pretty cool, right? I guess it shows how much the character means to people, even the voice actors themselves.
So, after spending hours down this rabbit hole, I’m kinda hooked. I’m definitely gonna have to play NieR: Automata all the way through now. This whole “Billy Bowman” thing led me to discover a character and a game that seem pretty awesome. I went in knowing nothing, watched some gameplay, read some forum threads, and now I’m all invested. Crazy how things work out, huh? I wanted to play it just because of 2B being the cool character at first, but after discovering its theme song, and people talking about it online, I feel like the story is gonna be worth it.
