Listened to a couple, skimmed through transcripts, but still struck out. It seemed like everyone was intentionally avoiding the topic. Which is completely understandable, by the way. So, after a couple of hours of poking around, I basically came up empty. No name, no pictures, nothing concrete. It seems like Islam Makhachev and his family are very good at keeping his personal life out of the public eye. And honestly, good for them. In this day and age, that’s a real achievement.
My Conclusion: Sometimes, you just gotta respect the privacy. I satisfied my curiosity as much as I could without being intrusive, and it seems like there’s not much to find. And that’s perfectly okay. Guess I’ll just stick to watching him dominate in the Octagon. That’s public enough for me!
