Hey everyone, it’s your boy back again with another story from my own life. Today, I wanna talk about something that’s been buzzing around lately – this whole Jeff Seager thing. Now, if you’re not into baseball, that name might not ring a bell, but trust me, it’s a good one.
So, I started digging into this like I always do. First thing I did was, I went and looked up who the heck Jeff Seager even is. Turns out, he’s the dad of those two baseball big shots, Corey and Kyle Seager. Yeah, that’s right, THE Corey Seager who plays shortstop for the Texas Rangers. Wild, huh? And Kyle, well, he’s a big deal too, used to play for a bunch of teams.
I was like, “Okay, this is getting interesting.” So, what did I do next? I dove deeper, obviously. I found out that this Jeff guy, he wasn’t just any dad. He used to play baseball himself! He was in the Major League Baseball and played for teams like the New York Mets and the Philadelphia Phillies. I mean, how cool is that? It’s like baseball royalty or something.
Then, I did what any normal person would do – I started looking up his kids. I found this tidbit that Corey Seager was born on April 27, 1994, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The whole family’s got baseball in their blood, it seems.
- Family of Baseball Pros: This wasn’t just a one-off thing. Jeff and his wife, Jody, they have three sons, and all three are professional baseball players. Two of them are in the Major Leagues! Their oldest, Kyle, the middle child, Corey, and there’s a youngest one too.
- The Buzz Around Town: There’s this one day, I think it was December 18, 2024, where I read that Jeff and Jody were out of town, cheering on their youngest in the World Series. They were in Arlington, Texas, all the way from Kannapolis. That’s some serious parent support right there.
But here’s where it got a bit controversial. I stumbled upon some online chatter where people were debating why a certain team didn’t keep Corey. Like, people, the guy made his own choice! He did what was best for him and his family. We should be focusing on how he’s helping his team, not some old drama.
So, after piecing all this together, I realized something. This whole Jeff Seager story? It’s not just about baseball. It’s about family, it’s about making choices, and it’s about supporting your own, no matter what. And that’s something I think we can all relate to, right?
That’s all for today’s share. I just wanted to put this out there because it’s been on my mind. What do you guys think? Let me know in the comments!
