Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this UFC 4 game lately, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I saw that they announced the cover athletes, Israel Adesanya and Jorge Masvidal, just before UFC 251. I was pretty hyped because, you know, these guys are beasts!
I started by diving into the game, eager to see what it was all about. The first thing I noticed was how much better it looked and felt compared to the previous version. Smooth, you know? I mean, the graphics are killer, and the gameplay is just so much more fluid.
I decided to play a few matches as Adesanya first, just to get a feel for things. His striking is insane! I was landing punches and kicks like it was nothing. I also tried out Masvidal, and man, his brawling style is just as fun. I found myself pulling off some crazy combos and knockouts.
- I read somewhere that Nunes is ranked number one in the game, so I had to check that out.
- Her stats are crazy good. Her punching power and speed are like 96 or something ridiculous.
- She was just knocking everyone out. It was nuts!
Then I discovered that you can unlock other fighters like Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua. I even heard you can buy Brock Lesnar online. That’s pretty cool, right? Being able to play as these boxing legends and other bonus characters really adds to the experience.
I spent hours playing, trying out different fighters and game modes. I got really into the career mode, creating my own fighter and working my way up the ranks. It’s pretty addictive, I won’t lie. I even tried playing online, which was a whole different challenge. It’s tough out there!
Honestly, after all this, I’d say the game is a solid choice for any UFC fan. Sure, it has its quirks. Like, they really need to update the roster. But overall, it’s a blast to play. It’s not perfect, but it definitely kept me entertained for hours on end.
I saw some people saying that the game isn’t quite as good as some reviews suggest, and I get that. But for me, the improvements over the last version are noticeable, and it’s just plain fun to beat the crap out of people in the octagon, even if it’s just virtually. The fact that Adesanya and Masvidal are on the cover? That’s just the icing on the cake. They picked some real killers for this one!
Final Thoughts
I had a ton of fun with UFC 4. It’s a great way to blow off some steam and live out your UFC fantasies. The gameplay is solid, the graphics are great, and the roster, while needing some work, is still packed with awesome fighters. This is one game I’ll definitely be keeping in my rotation for a while.
