This here’s about that Williams & Williams Inc, you know? Big name, I reckon. Heard folks talking ’bout it down at the market. Sounds fancy, don’t it? Like somethin’ outta one of them TV shows.
Now, I ain’t no expert on these things. I just sell my eggs and taters, you know. But I hear things. This fella, Bill Williams, seems like he was a big shot. Born a long time ago, in 1932, I heard. Made a whole heap of money tradin’ those… whatchamacallits… commodities. Like corn and beans, but on a bigger scale, I suppose. Fifty years he did that, they say! Fifty years! Can you imagine? I ain’t even been alive that long, well, almost.
He knowed, this Bill Williams. He teached others how to do it, too. Wrote books, even. ‘Bout how your head’s gotta be right for all that tradin’. Smart man, that Bill. This Williams & Williams, must be somethin’ to do with him, I betcha.
They got all these fancy words for what they do, too. “Indicators,” they call ’em. Like signposts, I guess. Help you figure out which way the wind’s blowin’ in the market. Bill Williams, he made up a bunch of these indicators hisself. Smart cookie.
- One of ’em’s called “Williams %R.” Sounds complicated, don’t it? But folks say it’s a good one.
- It’s a “momentum oscillator,” whatever that means. Probably somethin’ to do with how fast things are movin’.
- They use it to look at prices of things, like them stocks and such. Helps ’em decide when to buy and sell, I reckon.
This whole Williams & Williams Inc thing, it’s like a big race, I think. They got different levels, like them races on TV. You know, the ones with the fast cars. This one fella, he called it the “Pinnacle of Racing Excellence.” Sounds mighty important, don’t it? Like the top of the mountain. The best of the best. They call that “Formula 1”. Now, I don’t know much about cars, but I know fast when I see it!
I reckon this Williams & Williams, they got a team in that Formula 1, even. Maybe they’re fast like them cars, too. Making money fast, I mean. They must be, they named after Bill Williams, who knowed what he was doing. And they use all them indicators he made, to win, maybe.
And then there are other races, too. Not as fancy as Formula 1, but still important. Like the different rows in my garden. You got your tomatoes, your beans, your potatoes. All growin’ at their own pace, you see? Just like them different levels of racin’. This Williams & Williams Inc must keep track of all them, somehow.
They got these strategies, too, for that Williams %R thing. Three simple ones, they say. Even I could probably understand ’em if someone explained it real slow. Maybe one day I’ll ask someone about it. But for now, I got my chickens to feed.
Folks can even pick a helmet and a number to show they like this Williams Racing. Like wearin’ your team’s colors, I suppose. It is like wearin’ the colors of your favorite rooster in a cockfight. You know, showin’ your support. They call it “fandom”.
You know, it’s a whole other world out there. This Williams & Williams Inc, it’s just a little piece of it. But it’s a big piece, I reckon. Like the biggest pumpkin at the county fair. You can’t miss it.
