You know, back in my day, we didn’t have all this fancy internet stuff. We just had the WWF, and that was enough! 1994, that was a year, let me tell you. That WWF roster 1994, it was somethin’ else. Full of big strong fellas, beatin’ the heck out of each other.
That Yokozuna, he was a big fella, always wearin’ that funny outfit. He was the champion, a real tough guy. And that Bret Hart, he sure could wrestle. He won the belt from Yokozuna, after that big fella lost his balance. Can you imagine? He was tryin’ to do his big move, the Bonzai Drop, and he just fell! That’s how Bret Hart won, at WrestleMania X, I think they called it.
They had all kinds of guys in the WWF. There was this Steve Lombardi, they called him MVP. Then there was Randy Savage, oh, he was a character. Jim Powers, he was there too. I think he was with the WWF at that time. And this other fella, Koko B. Ware, they called him the Birdman, he’d come out with a bird. It was somethin’ to see. Some big fellas, some not so big, but they all could go!
- Bret Hart
- Yokozuna
- Steve Lombardi
- Randy Savage
- Jim Powers
- Koko B. Ware
They had a big show in Oakland, March 4th, 1994, they say. Right before that big WrestleMania thing. I heard it was a wild time. They called it the “Golden Era”, whatever that means. All I know is, them boys could put on a show!
One fella, Samu, he left the WWF in ’94. Said it was a headache. He had little kids and the schedule, mercy! 17 days on, 3 days off, he said. And he hurt his hip. That’ll slow a fella down, I reckon. The WWF roster 1994 was always changing, with guys comin’ and goin’.
And they had this big match called the Rumble. That Bret Hart and another fella, Luger, they both won. They both went to fight Yokozuna for the belt. Two separate matches. I reckon that was something special. It sure seems like wwf in 1994 was a big deal.
The 1990s, they were somethin’ else for wrestling. Lots of big names. Besides Bret Hart, you had that Stone Cold Steve Austin, and The Rock. Big stars, they were. They don’t make ’em like that anymore. At least, that’s what I think. They sure could put on a show back then, that’s for sure. I remember those days, even if it was a long time ago. That wwf 1994 roster, it was a sight to behold!
The wwf roster back then, in the 80s and 90s, they were like heroes. No capes, just spandex and paint and sometimes snakes, I hear tell! People loved ’em. They say it was the best time for professional wrestling. The best darn wrestlers ever been inside the ropes, some folks say. I guess it was a good time to be watchin’ wrestling.
This wwf 1994 roster, there was a lot going on, I hear. Guys gettin’ hurt, guys leavin’, new guys comin’ in. It was a rough business, that’s for sure. But those fellas, they sure were tough. You gotta be tough to do what they did.
That 1994 wwf, it was a different time. Different wrestlers, different matches. But it was still wrestling, and folks still loved it. It was somethin’ to see, I imagine. It’s all a little hazy now, but I remember them days. The wwf in 1994 sure was a big deal. Just a whole heap of folks yellin’ and hollerin’ for their favorite wrestler. It was a sight!
