Okay, let me walk you through how I gathered everything for the Tome of the Eternal Flow. It wasn’t exactly a walk in the park, let me tell ya.

Getting Started – Realizing the Grind
So, I finally got the weapon, felt pretty good about it. Thought, “Alright, let’s level this baby up!” Then I actually checked what it needed. Man, the list just kept scrolling. Knew right then this was gonna take some time and a whole lot of running around.
Hitting the Weapon Domain – Echoes of the Deep Tides
First thing on the list was that fancy stuff from the Fontaine weapon domain, the Echoes of the Deep Tides. Checked the schedule, found the days it dropped the ‘Dross of Pure Sacred Dewdrop’ materials. Had to wait a day, which was annoying, but whatever.
Then came the actual grind. Running that domain over and over… and over. You know how it is. Used up a good chunk of my Resin each day it was available. Sometimes you get lucky with the drops, get the gold ones. Most times? Just the basic stuff, meaning more crafting later. Found a team setup that cleared it quick enough, but yeah, repetitive stuff.
Hunting Down Fontemer Aberrants – Pearls, Pearls, Pearls
Next up: Transoceanic Pearls, Chunks, and Xenochromatic Crystals. These drop from those weird watery creatures all over Fontaine, the Fontemer Aberrants. Crabs, jellyfish-looking things, seals… you name it.
I spent a lot of time just swimming around. Underwater areas near Poisson or the Court of Fontaine usually had plenty. Also found clusters along the beaches. It wasn’t hard fighting them, just tedious finding enough. Needed a ton of the basic pearls to eventually craft the highest tier crystals. Felt like I was single-handedly making them endangered species or something.

Dealing with Clockwork Meka – Gears Galore
Then came the gears. Meshing Gear, Mechanical Spur Gear, and the Artificed Dynamic Gear. These drop from those clockwork robot things, the Meka. They’re everywhere in Fontaine too, especially around the Elynas area and near the Institute of Kinetic Energy.
Honestly, farming these felt a bit easier than the pearls, maybe ’cause they often come in groups. Still, the sheer quantity needed was nuts. Same deal as the pearls – defeat loads, collect the basic gears, then head to the crafting table to make the better ones. Drop rates felt okay, but when you need hundreds… yeah, it takes a while.
Crafting and Mora – The Final Touches
With pockets full of domain drops, pearls, and gears, I spent some quality time at the crafting bench. Turning all those low-tier materials into the higher-grade stuff needed for the later ascension levels. Click, click, craft. Felt good seeing the numbers go up, though.
And let’s not forget the Mora and Enhancement Ores. Leveling weapons costs a fortune! Ran a few Mora Ley Lines when I was low. For ores, I mostly relied on daily commissions, expeditions, crafting the basic ores I got from exploring, and whatever events were running. Always gotta keep an eye on those resources.
Done… For Now
Finally got it all together and ascended the Tome to 90. Took a few solid days of focused farming, mixed in with other daily stuff. It’s a good feeling when it’s done, but man, the grind is real. Glad that’s over with for this weapon. Now, who needs leveling next… sigh.
