Okay, so I’ve been messing around with Yunli a lot lately, trying to figure out the best way to build her. I mean, there are tons of guides out there, but I wanted to see for myself what really works. So, I spent the whole day just running around, testing different relic sets, and I think I finally cracked it.
My Experiment Setup
First, I got Yunli to level 80, just to make sure she was hitting hard enough for the tests to matter. Her talents were pretty leveled up, too. Nothing crazy, but respectable. I think they were like, 6-8-8, something in that range.
Then I went to my relic stash and pull out a few of the sets everyone recommends for her. I had a full set of that Husk of Opulent Dreams everyone loves, and also that other set, you know, the physical damage one. I forget the name, but that’s not important.
Testing, Testing, 1, 2, 3…
Next, I started running around the world. I fought those big guys, the small fries, everything. I mainly focused on her normal attacks and her counter. And, I took notes. Yeah, I’m a nerd, I know. But I wanted to see which set let her dish out the most damage, and which one made her feel the tankiest. I tried it on domains, also.
I swapped between the sets, fought the same enemies, and tried to keep everything else the same. You know, same team, same buffs, same enemy level…as much as I could, anyway. It’s not a super scientific lab or anything, but I did my best.
What I Found Out
Okay, so after all that, here’s the deal. Honestly, the Husk of Opulent Dreams set is the way to go. No contest.
- Damage: With the Husk set, her normal attacks were hitting way harder. Her counter, too! It was like night and day compared to the other set. I saw maybe a 20-25% damage increase, and the numbers were all over the place.
- Defense: The Husk set also gives her a ton of DEF, which is great. Because her damage scales with her DEF stat.
The other set? It wasn’t bad, but it just didn’t compare. She felt weaker, and the numbers proved it.
My Recommendation
So, yeah, if you’re building Yunli, go for the Husk of Opulent Dreams. Trust me, I spent a whole day figuring this out. It’s the best set for her, hands down. You’ll get more damage, and she’ll be a lot harder to kill. Win-win!
Don’t waste your time and just go to get this set done!
